We want you to feel comfortable, informed, and excited before you even walk through the door. Here is exactly what to expect.
Meet Master Miguel and our team. We will greet you, show you around, and make sure you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.
We will place your child in an appropriate training group based on age and experience level. Every student trains with peers who match their stage of development.
No previous martial arts experience is necessary. Your child will jump right in with basic Taekwondo movements and follow along with the class at their own pace.
Experience the energy of the dojang, participate with the group, and discover why students love coming back to RTMA every week.
After class, we will sit down with you to answer your questions and explain the program, schedule, and how your child will progress. We are here to help you make the right decision for your family.
No Pressure. No Obligation.
Your first class is completely free. Come see what RTMA is about — then decide.
We believe in earning every promotion with skill, character, and readiness — not just time served.
We have moved from testing approximately every two months to approximately every three months. This is not to slow students down — it is to give them the time they need to develop, polish, and demonstrate their skills properly.
Testing dates will be announced ahead of time so families can prepare. Students are never surprised by a test — and they are never rushed into one they are not ready for.

Our goal is to develop better martial artists, not simply promote students as quickly as possible.
— RTMA Testing Philosophy
Testing dates are announced in advance. Families will always have time to prepare.
Fewer belt levels. More meaningful milestones. Stripes help students stay motivated and parents stay informed every step of the way.
Between belt tests, students earn stripes to mark specific skills and knowledge areas. This gives students smaller, achievable goals to work toward while they develop the complete skillset required for their next belt.
First half of the required form / poomsae. Students demonstrate they understand the foundation and are building the sequence correctly.
Second half / completion of the required form / poomsae. The full pattern is now performed with confidence and proper technique.
Required Taekwondo knowledge, terminology, and curriculum. Students show they understand the "why" behind the "how."
Required kicking technique for board breaking. Power, precision, and control — the moment students feel their progress physically.
Every stripe is earned, not given. When a student collects all four, they — and their parents — know they are truly ready for the next belt.
